Let’s ALL help bring quality journalism to Chelsea

A hyper-local online newspaper for Chelsea will bring so much to the community and its connecting neighbourhoods. There is so much to write about for the benefit of the residents and its 4,000+ businesses, as well as for the millions of visitors who flock to the area every year.

Whether it is politics, cultural events, enterprise, property, residents’ concerns, campaigns, or simply community fun, The Citizen will be at the centre of it all.

But original journalism is a complicated, time-consuming skill that is expensive to produce, so this newspaper will only launch if it has the potential for financial success.

If you are in a position to donate philanthropically, then we would love to hear from you. Or, you might run a major business in Chelsea that can become a headline sponsor of one of our sections. There are also thousands of small businesses and groups who could weigh in by paying a modest sum to be listed in The Citizen Directory.

We would also love to hear from people who are gifted with financial acumen who might be able to advise on our financial opportunities. The Citizen will be registered as part of the Government’s Enterprise Investment Scheme which provides a highly worthwhile tax incentive for potential investors.

Between us all we can make journalism great again in Chelsea!
