The Met has started trialing the ‘Chelsea Police Enquiry Line’. It is offering a dedicated telephone number that will be manned from 11am-1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It is for non-urgent matters and is not for reporting crime.

The number is: 0207 161 8984

Tyler O’Hare – Police Sergeant for Riverside ward – said:

‘We hope that this dedicated line will increase our communication and accessibility; increase our engagement through a consistent and proactive approach; provide timely responses and inform resource allocation and efficiencies. This does not act as a crime reporting line. In an emergency, you should always dial 999.’
